This preliminary data suggests a trend that students in the WITH TABLETS group attend classes more regularly, persist to completion of this two semester course, and have greater success than students in the WITHOUT TABLETS group.

PROJECT ABSTRACT: Students may be unprepared for careers in applied science and technology due to factors including lack of entrance pre-requisites, language or self-confidence issues. HP tablet technology is used to improve student engagement and learning in mathematics and science. Students will engage in appropriate digital media and learning activities to enhance their academic experience.
